BROOKLYN - The search for a predator is intensifying after a 10-year-old girl was allegedly abducted while on her way to school in Canarsie.

According to authorities, the suspect grabbed the victim, asked her for a kiss and forced her to the roof of 567 East 108th St. Thursday morning. They say the girl was then hit over the head, but managed to escape to the seventh floor where she banged on doors for help.

The girl was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. Her attacker is described as a black man between 18 and 25 years old, and about 6 feet tall.
