Search intensifies for missing 7-year-old boy

BROOKLYN - The search intensified Monday for a 7-year-old Brooklyn boy who went missing Jan. 22 from his Vandalia Avenue foster home.

The NYPD and Administration for Children's Services posted flyers around the Starrett City neighborhood with Patrick Alford's picture over the weekend. Police say Patrick was last seen at his foster home wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Patrick was placed in the care of foster parents days earlier when his biological mother lost custody. His biological family is raising money to offer a reward for Patrick's return.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
