Security in place ahead of LGBT Pride Month

BROOKLYN - Security plans are in place ahead of the annual LGBT Pride Month this June.

Community leaders and various groups against violence met with the NYPD and the King's County District Attorney's Office to discuss safety measures in Brooklyn.

Organizers say that with an increase in hate crimes against gay communities across the country, they're hoping to be proactive and keep everyone safe.
