Seized clothes donated to Haiti relief

BROOKLYN - Seven truckloads of seized clothing will be donated to relief efforts in Haiti.

The clothing was taken from counterfeiters in 2008 and 2009. By law, the goods had to be destroyed, but a lawyer determined that removing the logos would make them fit for use.

Organizations World Vision and Phoenix Beverage are transporting the goods to Haiti.
