FLATBUSH - Some senior citizens living in a six-story Flatbush apartment building say they've been stuck without an elevator for more than six months.

Residents of the Ocean Avenue building say neither of the two elevators work. About 350 people are affected.

They say their landlord and building management have not given them a timetable on when they can expect a fix.

The building's superintendent declined to speak with News 12 about the issue.

The city's Department of Buildings says it sent an inspector in August but did not issue any violations at the time. Now, the department plans to conduct another inspection.
