Separate shootings leave 1 dead, 10-year-old injured

BROOKLYN - Police found a man in the driveway of 663 E. 83rd St. with a gunshot wound to his torso Sunday morning.

Emergency responders pronounced him dead on the scene. Police haven?t arrested a suspect, and are investigating.

In Crown Heights, another shooting victim is in the hospital.

The 10-year-old girl is recovering after a stray bullet hit her on President Street during a block party. Police say Denia Kearse was hit in the shoulder and may have been caught in the crossfire of a gang fight.
