Serial mugger targets Bed-Stuy

BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a man they believe has mugged 11 people on the streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant within a month.

Investigators say the man follows his victims and threatens to shoot them unless they hand over all their possessions. As yet, the suspect has only shown his weapon one time. However, when one victim refused to hand over his wallet, the police say the man punched him.

The robberies are primarily on Hancock St. between Marcy and Bedford avenues.
