BROOKLYN - Several people were injured during a two-alarm fire in Downtown Brooklyn this afternoon.

Fire officials say the flames started in the House of Beauty Salon at 75 Willougby St. and quickly spread, leaving patrons and residents in surrounding buildings scrambling to get outside.

Officials say that it took 125 firefighters almost an hour to get everything under control. They say two firefighters and a man who had to be rescued from a fourth-floor window suffered minor injuries.
