Severe storm brings Park Slope residents together

(09/16/10) PARK SLOPE - Wild weather ripped through Brooklyn and residents are now assessing the damage throughout the borough.

Sandy Noble, a Park Slope resident, said she's seen crazy storms before, but nothing like what she faced tonight. Her 11th Street home now features a tree protruding from her kitchen and a tree limb through her bedroom window. She says the force of the wind also blew her bed across the room.

The 15-year Brooklyn resident wasn't prepared for the damage, so workers from Danny's Tire Shop stopped by to clear the tree from her house.
