BROOKLYN - Residents at the Sheepshead Bay Houses are pleading for help and support from the city's housing authority to solve the complex?s security issues.

Robberies, shootings and murders no longer phase the people in this community since they say it has become a regular occurrence. However, the 2,500 residents say they would feel much safer with the presence of security cameras.

They say the cameras might not stop crimes, but it would help catch the suspects, such as the one who killed 22-year-old Crystal Sweet. Sweet lost her life in a triple shooting in May.
