Sheepshead Bay mosque stalled with another delay

BROOKLYN - Another delay has stalled plans to build a mosque and community center in Sheepshead Bay.

The Department of Buildings says it needs more clarification on the use of the mosque. The owner of the mosque says this delay could put him months behind.

This year, neighbors have protested the proposed mosque saying it would change the look of the neighborhood. Many of their concerns came during controversy surrounding Park 51, the proposed mosque and community center near Ground Zero.
