BROOKLYN - Commuters who rely on the Greenpoint ferry are getting some welcome news.

The ferry terminal at India Street in Greenpoint has been out of commission since snow accumulation caused it to collapse into the East River on Feb. 13. Starting on Tuesday, a shuttle bus will be connecting commuters from this ferry stop to the B32 bus stops along Franklin Avenue and North Williamsburg.

Morning shuttle service starts at 6:50 a.m. and runs every 20 minutes until 9:30 a.m. Night service starts at 4:30 p.m. and runs every 20 minutes until 7:20 p.m.

The shuttle service is expected to run for at least two weeks, pending ridership levels.
