Signal work causes messy commute for straphangers

BROOKLYN - Signal work on the F and G lines caused headaches for weekend straphangers in Brooklyn.

Shuttle service will be discontinued until early Monday between Downtown Brooklyn and 7th Avenue. Straphangers will need to hop on buses to travel downtown until the work is completed.

MTA workers are manning stations to show riders how to get where they need to go. Still, straphangers are being advised to expect delays.

Normal service is expected to resume Monday at 5 a.m.
