BROOKLYN - A slain Brooklyn soccer player was mourned last night in Crown Heights.

Police say 27-year-old Phillip Tisson was killed Monday morning on Utica Avenue after celebrating a game-winning goal for the island-nation of St. Lucia.

The St. Lucian community says it wanted to honor Tisson's memory during last night's gathering and also rally the community to take a stand against violence.
