Smells like....bananas

BROOKLYN - ? Want your home to smell like delicious fruit? That's the idea between scratch and sniff wallpaper made in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn residents had mixed reactions about the scented paper. Priced at $100 more than regular wallpaper, many are unsure if they would buy it. Others say it's a great novelty gift and could be fun for children.

Brooklyn company 'Flavor Paper' makes several styles of wallpaper that smell like fruit and have brightly colored designs on them. Designer John Sherman created his business in New Orleans and recently opened the store in Brooklyn.

There are currently three flavors available- banana, cherry and tutti-fruity. Sherman says the bestseller is cherry.
