Snow and rain made for a messy commute

BAY RIDGE - ? A New Year?s Eve snowstorm caused chaos Thursday morning for commuters across the area.

Although Mother Nature dumped about 1.5 to 2 inches of snow over Brooklyn, conditions improved throughout the afternoon hours.

News 12 Meteorologist Stacy-Ann Gooden says the snow is over for now, but to expect rain and snow showers tonight.

Drivers are urged to use caution.
