Snow scouts demonstrate streaming video, new technology

BROOKLYN - One initiative that?s helping out during the snowstorm were the scout teams.

Observers from the Office of Emergency Management use streaming video and GPS technology to monitor street conditions in the city. The images are available through a live feed at the city?s emergency operations center.

Snow scouts showed off their new technology today and demonstrated how they used the products to help keep the city moving.
