BENSONHURST - Soldiers took a day off from work to help those in need at a Bensonhurst food pantry.

As part of Army Week, soldiers went out in the community to volunteer their time and service. The soldiers filled bags with produce and canned food to distribute to families.

The food was donated by nonprofits, local businesses and community members. Students from P.S. 186 also donated $700 to help the food pantry.
