BROOKLYN - While the snow in Brooklyn can be a nuisance, many residents said they enjoy it nonetheless.

"Honestly, I love it," said Shaina Botnick, of Crown Heights. "I'm Canadian. It reminds me of home." Cab divers also said the snow provides a great opportunity to make money.

As snow began to pick up Wednesday night, buses didn?t seem phased by the weather and moved smoothly through downtown streets.

Many residents were out braving the elements early, trying to get a head start on the shoveling as snow continues to fall through Thursday morning.
