Missing woman with dementia found

An elderly woman with dementia that went missing from her home in Midwood is now safe and back home with her family.

Fliers have gone up around the neighborhood in hope that someone will recognize her.

BROOKLYN - An elderly woman with dementia that went missing from her home in Midwood is now safe and back home with her family.

Sophia Rodriguez had last been seen by a neighbor Wednesday morning as she left the home she shares with her family on East 22nd Street, near Farragut Road.

Robert Rodriguez, the woman's son, says that a good Samaritan spotted Rodriguez today near Avenue N at 22nd Street and called police.
