BROOKLYN - An elderly woman with dementia that went missing from her home in Midwood is now safe and back home with her family.

Sophia Rodriguez had last been seen by a neighbor Wednesday morning as she left the home she shares with her family on East 22nd Street, near Farragut Road.

Robert Rodriguez, the woman's son, says that a good Samaritan spotted Rodriguez today near Avenue N at 22nd Street and called police.
