BUSHWICK - A double shooting at an apartment in Bushwick left one man dead and a woman injured.

Police say when they got to the apartment on Forrest Street, they found a 49-year-old man dead at the scene.

They also found a 35-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the head.  She was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition.

News 12 sources say the incident was an attempted murder-suicide.

According to police, a handgun was found near the man.

There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
