BROOKLYN - It was a scary start to the day for some students after a special needs school bus collided with a car in Bensonhurst.

The accident happened on 15th Avenue and 76th Street at around 8 a.m.

EMS says that 11 children and one adult were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Another adult refused medical attention at the scene.

There is no word on what led to the accident or if any charges will be filed.
