EAST FLATBUSH - An all-girls Catholic high school in East Flatbush is closing its doors after more than 70 years in the community.

Students at Catherine McAuley High School held a special performance called "Loss Light Legacy" to celebrate the school's long life in the community and create an outlet for students and faculty that are distressed about the closing.

School officials say the high school is closing at the end of the school year due to low enrollment and the poor economy. The last day of classes for most students will be at the beginning of June.
