BROOKLYN - With New Year’s around the corner, some may be looking to spice up their exercise routines with some new tricks.
Circus Arts Fitness is a full-body workout that uses traditional circus equipment to work the core, upper and lower body muscles. Those who take the class learn tricks on the trapeze, rope climbing, tight-wire walking and juggling.
Carrie Heller, who created the class, says she based it on her own experience as a professional trapeze artist. Participants say the class is a workout for the mind, body and soul.
