BROOKLYN - As spring begins, many residents are once again coming face-to-face with allergies caused by fresh grass and pollen.

One resident says he is visiting his doctor for weekly booster shots to make sure his immunities are built up by the time pollen gets heavy.

The doctor says the key to surviving the season is figuring out what you're allergic to so you can treat it early.

One doctor said the upcoming allergy season could be more severe due to the longer winter season.
