BROOKLYN - A weekend storm knocked down trees and power lines in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn.

News 12 Meteorologist Mike Favetta says the storm had a lot of lightning and thunder but did not create heavy winds.

Six residents lost power yesterday. Crews have restored electricity to the area.
