MARINE PARK - The knish crisis is over.

Long Island-based Gabila’s Knishes has resumed production and delivery of square knishes. A factory fire back in September brought production to a halt, and caused a shortage of square knishes throughout the region.

The first shipments arrived today at restaurants and stores across the borough.

News 12 Brooklyn was out in Marine Park talking to knish lovers excited to finally get their Gabila’s fix again.

"It was hard to get knishes,” said Carol Skrell. “You know … I tried the round ones, but it's not the same as these."

“Looks like we may have a little knish party,” Cindy Reilly added.
