St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, Brooklyn Anti-Violence Coalition offer Thanksgiving meals

BROOKLYN - Many Brooklyn residents unable to spend time with friends or family enjoyed Thanksgiving meals prepared by volunteers from the St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church and the Brooklyn Anti-Violence Coalition.

Organizers say that community members donated money, food and their time to help those in need.

A total of 300 meals were served at the holiday feast.

The group has hosted this popular dinner for six years.
