BROOKLYN - The St. Lucia soccer team dedicated its final championship match to a teammate who was gunned down in Brooklyn last month.

Isadore Phillip Tisson, playing in his first Digicel Carribean Cup, was fatally shot Aug. 30 during an after-hours, post-game celebration. Tisson's father and family joined St. Lucian fans, who packed into an area stadium to cheer on the team.

Those close to Tisson say he came to play in the tournament so he could bring money back to his family. Friends are selling custom-made shirts to help send his body back to St. Lucia.
