BROOKLYN - A brand new FDNY EMS station has been dedicated in Williamsburg.

Dubbed Station 35, it's the 10th EMS house to be built in Brooklyn, and will be home to four ambulances and a command vehicle.

The completely state-of-the-art building is located at 332 Metropolitan Ave., and will serve growing populations in Greenpoint and Williamsburg.

FDNY officials say they're working to increase the number of EMS stations in the city to lower response times for a rising number of emergency calls.
