State Sen. Parker beats Sharpe in 21st District primary

BROOKLYN - State Sen. Kevin Parker beat Wellington Sharpe in the 21st state Senate District primary Tuesday evening.

Parker won despite currently facing charges for allegedly attacking a NY Post photographer and breaking his finger during the incident.

Parker is due in court next month. A conviction would automatically cost Parker his Senate seat.
