Still no restrooms at Brooklyn Bridge Park

BROOKLYN - Brooklyn Bridge Park officially opened in late March, but visitors say restrooms are still missing from the borough's new outdoor space.

The park, located at Pier 1, features a new promenade, a new playground, sprawling lawns and the Granite Prospect - a set of steps built from granite stones. However, park rangers say it'll be another three weeks before bathrooms are installed at the park.

Parkgoers who were out enjoying the warm weather Saturday say they are not overly bothered by the temporary lack of bathrooms. When needed, they head home or use the facilities at nearby eateries.
