BROOKLYN - Yesterday's fierce storm caused dozens of transit delays and disruptions for Brooklyn commuters this morning.

The morning rush hour was stalled on many bus lines in areas throughout the borough, including Park Slope and Marine Park.

New York City Transit says the service disruptions were caused by downed trees and debris blocking roadways. Many bus lines, including B31, B2 and B3, had to be rerouted.

"Without the B31, there is no way to Kings Highway," says commuter Nicolas Panebianco. "It's pretty much one way in and one way out [of] Gerritsen."

Some commuters say the city should've had a plan in place to reduce service disruptions.
