BROOKLYN - A local dancer took to the stage Tuesday evening in the first-ever performance outside the Barclays Center.

Storyboard P, who once worked on a documentary with Jay Z, showed off his moves in front of the new arena. The event was part of the BEAT Festival, which features emerging artists across the borough.

Organizers say visitors can expect more high-energy performances at the plaza throughout the year.
