BROOKLYN - Students from across the city and state put their math and basketball skills to the test in Downtown Brooklyn.

The NBA Math Hoops tournament is a fast-paced basketball board game. Players draft a team of NBA and WNBA players, then use statistics and solve math problems to advance.

The game was created by the non-profit "Learn Fresh" as a math learning tool.

As an added treat, Brooklyn Nets player Darius Morris stopped by to watch the kids play.
