BROOKLYN - Students and teachers are protesting the Department of Education's proposal to move a charter elementary school into Tilden High School Campus Building.

The Tilden High School Campus currently houses three high schools already, and the faculty is concerned that kindergarten through fifth-graders would be sharing communal spaces, in addition to losing 40 classrooms.

The protesters say classroom sizes will go from 15-20 students per class to 40 students per class, which they're fearful would impact the learning ability of the students.
