Students 'like' social media etiquette classes

BROOKLYN - Students at P.S./I.S. 327 are learning social media etiquette as more log on to networking sites.

The Social Media for Kids program is being taught in classes at the school and aims to get students to be socially responsible online. Teachers say they have seen the effects of an online conversation that led to violence.

School officials cited recent facebook spats that escalated into physical violence. Students say they are more careful about cyberbullying and its effects after the class.
