BROOKLYN - As the economy continues to slowly recover, a new study shows that unemployed women are having a tougher time finding jobs than men.

The study by the Pew Research Center shows that while more men lost jobs at the start of the recession, they are now finding work at a much faster rate than unemployed women.

Researchers say this marks the first recovery from any recession where the unemployment rate is falling for men while rising for women.
