BROOKLYN - A new city program is giving students the opportunity to work and get job experience.
The competitive Summer Youth Employment Program provides participants with paid work for up to six weeks in July and August.
The program aims to introduce students to the workforce, give them job experience and expose them to different careers.
One group will be working at the Camba Food Pantry on Church Avenue in Flatbush. The students will be helping out in the food pantry and working on its farm.
