SUNSET PARK - A car show took place Sunday in Sunset Park to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

There were around 100 classic, muscle and luxury cars at the show.

Proceeds from the annual event go to the Maimonides Breast Cancer Center. The center is named after Gilbert Rivera who died of cancer several years ago. His son organizes the fundraiser as well as others throughout the year to help the center fight the disease.

Over 2,000 women in Brooklyn are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, more than any other borough.
