BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn park is getting a $4.4 million makeover, giving people the perfect place to get outside and play sports.

Sunset Park is celebrating the completion of its new multipurpose synthetic field. The field will be used year-round for softball, baseball and soccer.

As part of the renovation, the park will also have a new handicap-accessible bathroom. Additionally, the Parks Department plans to give the children's playground a makeover.
