Sunset Park pool officially opens

BROOKLYN - The city's Department of Parks and Recreation officially opened the doors to the Sunset Park pool Friday morning.  

There was dancing at the opening event and even a mariachi band.  The city's Parks commissioner also got into the summer spirit and jumped in the water.  

There are 14 pools in the borough of Brooklyn and 55 citywide. All city pools will remain open for the summer 2015 season through Labor Day.
