SUNSET PARK - Uprooted trees are causing a big problem in Sunset Park.

A number of homeowners on 50th Street have received summonses for cracked sidewalks in front of their homes. But homeowners say the cracks are caused by uprooted trees. A spokesperson says the city will cover the costs of sites eligible for the program.
