Surveillance video captures deadly 3-car crash at Foster and Ralph avenues in East Flatbush

Police confirm a 54-year-old woman was killed when a tractor-trailer and two cars collided. (10/22/13)

BROOKLYN - The moments leading up to a deadly three-car pileup in East Flatbush were all caught on camera early Tuesday.

Police confirm that a 54-year-old woman was killed when a tractor-trailer and two cars collided on Foster and Ralph avenues at around 4:30 a.m.

Surveillance video shows a green car headed southbound toward the intersection, while a gray car approaches westbound. The cars slam into each other, sending one flying into the truck and the other into a light pole.

First responders say the woman, who was driving one of the cars, was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. A 22-year-old man behind the wheel of the second car was also taken to Brookdale Hospital and is listed in stable condition. The driver of the truck was not hurt.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released pending family notification.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
