BROOKLYN - Surveillance video caught a mugging suspect fleeing the scene of the crime within the 60th Precinct in Brooklyn.

Police released the video in hopes of catching the suspect who they say robbed a 63-year-old woman while she was walking down the street at around 4 a.m. last Friday.

Investigators say the man grabbed the victim from behind, put her in a chokehold, and took her purse and cellphone before taking off on foot.

He's described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 160 pounds.
