Surveillance video released in Bed-Stuy shooting on MacDonough Street

Police are looking for the gunman who they say wounded a 25-year-old man. (7/7/14)

BROOKLYN - Surveillance cameras were rolling when a gunman opened fire on another man in Bed-Stuy over the weekend. 

According to police, the suspect is seen walking up to the 25-year-old victim while he was sitting on a set of stairs on MacDonough Street early Sunday. 

They say the suspect pulled a gun from his waistband, loaded it and fired several shots. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he is in critical, but stable condition.

The gunman is described as having a stocky build. He was wearing a T-shirt with the number 12 on the back.
