Police say the suspect shot a 24-year-old store

Police say the suspect shot a 24-year-old store manager in the shoulder while stealing a cash register drawer.

BROOKLYN - Police have released surveillance video of the suspect who shot a grocery store employee in Brownsville.

According to authorities, the man pointed a gun at a cashier at the Fine Fare Supermarket on Truxton Street Monday and took a cash register drawer. They say a 24-year-old manager tried to intervene, but was shot in the shoulder.

The suspect is believed to be in his 40s, and was wearing a black Kansas City Royals baseball hat.

The store manager was taken to Kings County Hospital and is expected to be OK.
