BROOKLYN - Police want the public’s help finding the man who allegedly robbed a deli at gunpoint in Brownsville last Friday.

The incident happened during the morning rush at the Junior 2 Pizzeria and Grill on Eastern Parkway near Herkimer Street.

Investigators released surveillance video of the suspect, who walked into the corner store at around 10 a.m.

They say the man then flashed a silver revolver at the clerk and demanded money. He's believed to have made off with a pair of headphones, a cell phone and $150.

The shop's owner Mahmoud Alzandani says this is the first time they have been robbed since they opened about a year and a half ago.
