Suspected Brooklyn bank robber strikes in New Jersey

BROOKLYN - Police say the bank robbery suspect known as the holiday bandit has struck again, this time in New Jersey.

According to authorities, Marat Mikhaylich is wanted for a string of eight robberies throughout the New York City area, including two in Brooklyn.

The most recent robbery took place at the Sovereign Bank in Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Police say Mikhaylich got his nickname for allegedly robbing several banks around the holiday season.

Officials are urging anyone with information about these incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477.
