WILLIAMSBURG - Police are investigating a swastika that was found spray painted near a playground in Williamsburg. It was discovered in front of the Epiphany Playground at Berry and South 9th streets. The neighborhood is predominantly Jewish, and many in the area say they are disgusted. "I don't want nobody to offend me," one resident said. "I don't want to offend nobody. We are the same. Everybody." Officials with the Shomrim, a volunteer safety patrol, said they spray painted over the sign within hours of hearing about it.
